Cote Terra. Oakleigh MELB

When I crave for good Greek sweets, Oakleigh would be the first place that pops to mind. Little did I know that this nearby suburb does come to life during the day and has a lot to offer a hungry foodie like yours truly.

Parking is not difficult at all - ample of available space at the train station or near the shopping centre. A brisk walk down the streets and voila, we are tucking ourselves silly here.

Coffee is good, just like any other Melbourne establishment.

Smashed avocado with toast topped with smoked bacon ~ adding $5 extra for a thick slab of bacon was a good idea, despite the added calories. The salty bacon flavour complimented the mild tasting avocado mix pretty darn well, Only downside to this dish was the slices of bread used was a little too hard to our liking.

Mushrooms with polenta and deep fried mozarella served with poached eggs. I am obsessed with mushroom inspired dishes and this was a winner in my books. Loved how well the polenta was prepared (not too soggy, seasoned perfectly) and the addition of mozarella provided the dish a good amount of saltiness to enhance its overall taste.

Because egg porn is essential these days.
