If you are after cheap but good food in the city, this is the blog post for you. Not sure how long Nelayan has been operating in Melbourne for as it was around when I first ate there 5 years ago.
We opted for the combination plates whereby diners get either 2 or 3 choices of meat/veggies to accompany their plate of rice. Pretty value for money considering that for 3 choices, it costs about $10.
The dishes may vary on a daily basis but rest assured that you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed our food that day - be careful if you are not a fan of spicy dishes as there are a few of them here.
